Gist: Unanswered questions #URPSA

I woke up to this in my mail and I would like to share it with our blog viewers

I will like to share the following facts and also ask the following questions so that the real truth can be revealed to every reader. I am imploring you all to be the judge and also demand/provide answers to the questions asked here;
   >In 2014, the Pope led URPSA executives procured a 5-in-1 notebook for #250 each but in 2016, the Social Director did a writing pad (jotter) for #256 each. The executives tried to probe this act but met a dead end because the contact of the production company on the jotter belongs to the social director therefore sabotaging any effort to probe his act.

1. WHY WOULD A SOCIAL DIRECTOR SUSBSTITUTE THE CONTACT INFORMATION OF THE PUBLISHING COMPANY ON THE JOTTER TO HIS OWN PHONE NUMBER?
   >Concerning the awards, there were disparities in the procedures used in selecting winners for the merit award categories and also the gross misconduct by the some members of the executives to use part of the ticket funds to bid for a nominee. This singular act discredited the award process hereby leading to other nominees not willing to further participate in the process.

2. WHY WAS THE MERIT AWARD WINNERS DECIDED WITH DIFFERENT RULES FOR THE VARIOUS CATEGORIES?

3. WAS THE SOCIAL DIRECTOR AWARE OF THE PLAN TO USE TICKET FUNDS TO SUPPORT A NOMINEE?
    >On the ticket sales, the whole marketing syndicate was built by the social director but the event consultant (SANTINO) in the spirit of transparency directed the school security personnel at the gate to tear off a part of every ticket presented at the gate by everyone. The social director was not privy to this plan thereby could not put up a strategy to circumvent this security system. The school security presented tickets estimated to be around #97,000 but he social director accounted for tickets of #16,000.

4. WHO PRINTED THE TICKETS AND AUTHENTICATED THEM WITH A SIGNATURE?

5. WHERE DID PEOPLE WHO PRESENTED TICKETS AT THE GATE PURCHASE IT?

6. HOW DID THE SCHOOL SECURITY GOT TICKETS PART WORTH #97,000

7. DID THE SCHOOL SECURITY MANUFACTURE THOSE HALF TICKETS?

LET’S TALK ABOUT RAPE part 1

Rape is very rampant in our society today, that almost all girls have been a victim of being raped or almost being raped. The main problem we face today is that our society today does not give much attention to rape victims. Victims are usually ashamed that they do not report to relevant authorities, even if they do, the police ridicules the victim and most times the offenders are  not prosecuted.
I was reading a blog post today, and the writer was talking about her experience of almost being raped. She said she had a sister based in the United States who had sent a package to her through a male friend. After getting the guy’s contact, they started chatting and the guy agreed to meet her at the hospital (she’s a medic). Finally when they got to see, the dude told her that the package was at his house just around the corner that they should go and pick it up, so she innocently obliged. When they got to his house, there wasn’t anyone in (contrary what he said that his brother was home) that’s when he started trying to undress her whilst holding her tight. After much screaming and he didn’t let go, she kicked him in his balls that was when she had the opportunity to escape. She was lucky, others might not be.  Another writer also talked about her experience of being raped about a few weeks to law school. She found out that she was pregnant about 2 weeks after and she aborted the baby. Even in our very own Uniosun, there was news making waves on friday that an hostel was attacked, and the girls there were raped. Every day we hear about new cases of rape and the girls who are mostly the victims, are the ones being blamed. We hear comments like ‘she caused it, can’t you see how she dressed’, ‘what was she looking for at the guy’s house at that time of the night’ and so on. But about 100% of the guys are usually the ones at fault, because they are the ones who do not have the will power to control their sexual urges. Personally I feel it is a psychological problem because what do you call a guy raping a 60 year old or a girl of 4years. Where they indecently dressed?😯

Rape offenders when caught should have maximum punishment in form of castration or even cutting off the Penis 😟. But wait, what if the woman caused it? What if she took you to a place of ecstasy, gave you a hard on, and just when you were about to put it in, she said No.
Know that NO means NO

Photos: Mayhem in Lasu as students disrupt exams, stone VC

There has been chaos at the Lagos State University Campus, Ojo since yesterday after students of the institution and school authorities clashed over the closure of the university’s registration portal.

Students went on rampage this morning, destroying properties and disrupting exams schedule to hold today after their Vice Chancellor Prof. John Obafunwa refused to re-open the registration portal for 1292 students left to register for the current 2nd semester examinations which starts today because they couldn't raise the new N250,000 school fees on time.

Students gathered for over 9 hours in front of the senate building of the school yesterday 22nd of Jan. where the VC had a meeting concerning the re-opening of the portal but apparently the meeting didn't yield anything positive as the portal wasn't re-opened. According to the students, only 708 were able to register before the portal was shut again leaving 1292 students to their fate.

The VC reportedly said students yet to register are insignificant and would automatically have to carry the session over. This statement led to the riot today.

Students who went into the exam hall this morning were injured by protesting fellow students while exam papers and cards were destroyed. The VC wasn't spared also as his car was destroyed by rioting students who are insisting that the portal must re-open before examinations can commence in the school. The school authorities invited over 100 riot police to calm the situation down. Continue...

HEADIES CONTROVERSY: AYO ANIMASAHUN RESPONDS

'No sponsor influenced winners of Headies Award'- Ayo Animasahun

Ayo Animashaun, the brain behind the Headies Award has reacted to criticisms that trailed the award in 2013. Critics of the award which held December 26th 2013 believed that the winners were largely dictated by the lead sponsor of the show, making the organizers give awards only to artistes who are ambassadors of the lead sponsor and not necessarily to those who merited it.

Mr Animashaun in a recent interview with Encomium magazine denied all the allegations and also cleared the air on why Wizkid didn't win any award as he was largely rooted for by a lot of people.
"I dont like to add my words to what is not valid or baseless. It is just a waste of time. Some people do not think before they talk. In the first instance, MTN was not the major sponsor. You saw Airtel everywhere. Olamide that won the biggest award of the night is an Etisalat Ambassador. When people's argument is baseless, I don't join issues with them. I just look and laugh. People don't really do their own homework, they just talk. Wizkid's Jaiye Jaiye came out in August and the year in review stopped in July. How is it supposed to qualify? The year in review started March 2012 to June 2013. At that period, Jaiye Jaiye was not out. We were too busy to be distracted by any critics. Some people can talk and we are not the only people that started the journey".
